 Hiration

We are excited to introduce a new resume building platform for PSU students.  Hiration’s online resume builder provides unique, user-friendly templates to help you stand out in the employer resume pile. Create a modern, professional-looking resume with ease with the help of an AI assistant in just a few short steps.

Get Started:

  1. Login to your FREE account using your GUS email and single sign on password at: pittstate.hiration.com
  2. Choose a design, customize the layout and utilize the AI Review and Job Match for instant feedback. Career Development recommends starting with the one of the simple black & white designs first.
  3. If you need help, check out Hiration's step by step FAQ guide.
  4. Download your resume. Most designs allow you to download a PDF or a Word document. Either way you can still edit and refine your resume.  We recommend downloading a PDF copy to submit, and a Word copy to save and edit later.
  5. Have Career Development review it! Though Hiration is a tool to help support in the creation and design of custom resumes, it is not a replacement for a resume review. Students are encouraged to submit their document or make an appointment for an in-person review.

We talk specifically about what you can do in college to work toward your career goals, and what other factors can impact your choices throughout your education and career. Life happens, plans change, and YOU change! It will be ok, and you will find your path. We hope these stories are encouraging and help give you new ideas as you take the next steps on your own path.
